DIY: Snog Frozen Yoghurt

Total cost to make 1.4 litres is £5.93* without fruit or toppings

After trying my first SNOG in London, (the frozen yoghurt company) I fell completely in love with frozen yoghurt and have been wondering if i could make some at home myself. So i googled, it as you do, and found the recipe online via Channel 4.

Last week I made it and my mum cannot believe how much it tastes like a SNOG. I am dying to make some more already as this was eaten in around 3 days.

Tips
Do not use a spoon to eat directly out of the container you made the yoghurt in, use a clean one to serve it into a bowl, and then eat with another spoon.  This ensures that no bacteria can get into the yoghurt, ewww.
Do not leave the yoghurt out for too long. Get it out, allow to soften enough to serve, and then put straight back into the freezer.

METHOD
Whisk together the yogurt, milk, agave nectar and lemon juice in a large bowl. Transfer to the bowl of an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s directions, until creamy and smooth.
If you do not have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a freezerproof container. Put on the lid and place in the freezer. After about 45 minutes check the mixture. As it starts to freeze around the edges beat vigorously with a fork, whisk, electric hand mixer or spatula to break up the ice crystals. Repeat periodically until the mixture is frozen, about 2–3 hours.

Two Tone

Top: Topshop £14.00
Shorts: River Island £35.00
Necklace: Topshop £16.00*
Ring: Topshop £20.00 (set 1 of 4)
Nails: Models Own via Boots £5.00
Magazine: Company viz Boots £2.00

I've calmed down a bit since my first YouTube video yesterday. I'm still a little shocked that i finally have done it. I was also pretty surprised to wake up to 80 views. Thank you to anyone who has already watched, and those who haven't you can view it here.

Today's outfit was just a relaxed one for chilling and the odd bit of shopping. I didn't intent to go out in this outfit, i was planning a "stay at home / blogging day". I actually ended up in town buying ingredients for making Frozen Yoghurt. After having a SNOG in Soho London I just had to try and make some of the stuff myself as it is amazing!

I'm not really one to wear silver and gold at the same time, i'm generally more of a silver girl and gold freaks me out. So buying this was a weird choice, but I love it. Then i spotted this two tone ring in my draw which matches well enough for my liking.

Please excuse my chipped nails.

Jo Malone Illustrations

Jo Malone is renowned for its amazing fragrances and packaging. My mother, I believe is officially addicted to the company as a whole and each of its products. She has a particular favourite though; Grapefruit.

Whilst in London during the Olympics I visited the village and the surrounding areas. I went into Westfields for a while and stumbled across my mums favourite fragrance shop, Jo Malone. In the shop window I noticed some unique and eye-catching packaging, not like the usual style boxes that my mum has piled up at home. These were covered in beautiful illustrations of various parts of London, I just HAD to find out who had drawn these beautiful designs and when! Inside the shop I asked the assistant about the illustrations and she said that a lady had just done them and was now leaving. I jumped at the chance to speak to the artist of such unique work.

I think anyone would agree that these boxes are amazing!!

Coconut Body Butter @ The Body Shop Review

The Body Shop
RRP £12.50*

Personally I feel that this is the best Body Butter I have ever used.
I have HAD stretch marks on the top of my legs and have been keen to try a coconut based moisturiser for a while.
When I left working at River Island my colleges bought me a Luxury Coconut Gift Set which consisted of;
Coconut Shower Cream 250 ml
Coconut Body Butter 200 ml
Coconut Soap 100 g
Coconut Body Scrub 200 ml
Two-Tone Bath Lily
Available via The Body Shop
RRP £25.00

I cannot express my happiness with the results from using all of these products but in particular the Body Butter which I apply daily after each bath/shower. I have gone from having clear pink lines which were defined and slightly embarrassing, to little / no sign of the stretch marks. The only slight reminder I have of them are tiny white barely visible lines.
Shaving my legs, drying them and then applying this beautiful smelling butter is my favourite part of my daily routine!

I have recently spotted that this product has gone up in price. I'm sure it was previously around £8.00 however due to this product being a 'best seller' they have increased the prices.
Therefore I did try an alternative to see if I could match this product for a cheap alternative. I FAILED MISERABLY! I purchases Derma V10 Coconut Body Butter Moisturiser 220ml from home bargains for 89p! but honestly, its just not the same, so i'm back to my Coconut body butter, with the truly ethical trading company I cannot love enough.

Would I recommend this product to other bloggers?
Yes, especially if you have stretch marks, or just like to smell good enough to eat.

Would I buy this product for a friend as a gift?
NO, my friends will smell as nice as me then, sorry i can't do that!!

Would I buy this product even after the rise in price?
Honestly, yes. It's so worth it.

If I had to sum up the results of the body butter with one word what would it be?
Astounding.
