You will achieve

Faux Fur Gilet: Tophop £55.00
Top: Primark £6.00
Leggings: Topshop (ankle length, they fit better) £13.00
Necklace: Topshop £15.00
Spiked Bracelet: Asos £6.00

As you may be aware I am only 4 foot 9 inches in height, small and yet well formed. I am in fact a very confident and outgoing person. I feel that my height has affected the way people treat me throughout various areas of my life. Being small and getting people to take you seriously in everyday life is a battle in itself. I can’t deny that the amount of respect I gain throughout the day from peers, colleagues and complete strangers is directly linked to the size of my heels. I used to only ever wear a shoe with a heel. I so badly wanted to grow and to be of average teenage height. That word average scares me because in height I lack 4, 5 or 6 inches to achieve what I believe to be ‘normality’. But then I realised that being small is a part of me. It’s a part of me that I have learned to love. If I wasn't small then I wouldn't be me. I was once told that what I lack in height I make up for in personality. But ultimately learn to love who you are; small, tall, plus size, thin. Just be you. You can and will achieve.

No-one can wear heels forever its painful and unnecessary.

Collective Haul

Hi everyone! I’m back with my second haul video. This is a collective haul with products from Topshop, Rimmel London, NARS and Primark. The video features both make up and clothes. You can watch my first video here. I’ve got a lot more time for blogging at the moment as I’m really organised with my college work. Stressing slightly over applying for university but I’m getting there slowly. I’m going to be doing some DIY candles later this week and hope to get some pictures, tutorials or a video up about how I made them! I hope you like my haul. I was asked to do a makeup storage video with you can expect to see in the next week. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to make sure you see all my videos drop onto your subscription feed here.

It is so cold in Hull at the moment, I really miss being able to wear a jumper for college and no coat. But its boots and piling on the layers at the moment. I would however really like it to snow for Christmas; I love Christmas generally and being surrounded by family. What are you doing this Christmas? I’d love to hear what your plans are so comment below!
I’m currently taking suggestions for videos via email so if you have a suggestion you can email me at annaluefook@hotmail.co.uk or tweet me @annaluefook. I’ve become an instagram addict, follow me @annaluefook.

Hello New Room

You can stare and admire my beautiful new room and think quietly to yourself "why is she showing us this?", but my new room is the reason for my absence. My room has looked pretty much the same for around 5 years with fully laminate wardrobes and matching floor, cream walls and various colour of bedding.
For my 19th birthday my parents decided enough was enough and had my laminate covered with a swanky new carpet, had my wardrobes done in white high gloss, bought me a new bed and tweaked my dressing table! My god I love it. It's the best present I've had in years, because I spend so much time in my room having something so white, stress free and bright is a dream come true. I did have an idea of what I would have liked my room to look like, but never anything as lovely as this!

I'm a home bird, only child and bedroom space lover.
I blog, sleep, film and dress in this room so it is very important to me.
I feel everyone has personal space in their own room, and each room tells a story.
What does your room look like?

Neutrogena Mask & T-Zone Gel Wash Reviews

NEUTROGENA VISIBLY CLEAR 2-IN-1 WASH & MASK
£5.68 for 150ml
Out of the two products I feel that this product gave me more of the results I am looking for. I have normal to dry skin and occasionally my face peals with dry flakes. I found this product to unclog my pores, and purify my skin deep down. I have used it in the morning as a wash and on the night as a mask as I feel keeping the thing I put on my skin in a morning should be light and less intense, the evening mask tingles and I really feel it working. It has helped to get my spots under control, not that I have lots, but the odd occasionally one is gone after the night time mask has done its bit! I think that the mask side of the product is better than the wash. But both work well.

T-ZONE CLEAR PORE GEL FACE WASH
£4.50 for 150ml
This product I feel is very good as targeting specific areas where I have large pores and stop prone areas. For me this product as a gel is light, refreshing and offers something completely different to the Neutrogena product. I would however like to continue to buy both products. I have had the t-zone one for about 4 months and have still over half left. A little goes a long way unlike the Neutrogena product as I need a good amount to cover the whole face. This product foams like a soap and the other product doesn't. Therefore they are both unique in their features.

The Verdict
My Favourite:
Neutrogena Mask
Value for money:  T-Zone Gel Wash
Which i'd send as a present: Neutrogena Mask

Halloween Nails Tutorial

Blood Stained White Nails
OPI Alpine Snow: Amazon £6.10OPI Big Red Apple: Amazon £6.25Thin Nail Art Brush: Amazon £3.95

1. paint your nails white. repeat again for better coverage.
2. let your nails dry fully.
3. dip the thin brush into the red and paint the full tip white about 2mm.
4. then add random lines of various lengths vertically on the nail.
5. always start from the red tip upwards.
6. let your nails dry fully.
7. use any clear top coat.

This is  very simple yet effective nail design, don't worry too much about the random lines.

Smart Studs

Blazer: Zara £69.99
Top: Topshop £12.00
Leggings: Topshop £12.00
Boots: Topshop £75.00
Rings: Topshop £8.00
Nails: No7 Shade: Rose Truffle £8.50
Lips: Virgin V Shade: Kiss Me Honey (old) £10.00
Ombre / Dip dye Hair: Debonhair Studio Beverley*

This outfit is inspired by looking smart and presentable whilst still hitting the main trends. A blazer with studs in the perfect match for this. Keeping colour within an outfit is key, so if your not wearing any clothing with colours, why not try some bold statement nail colour. I felt red was good to match the lips and nails. Baring in mind this red was deep and autumn like it works well from day through to night.

This post is the last time you will see my Ombre hair, as yesterday I had it dyed back my original colour. Its slightly darker than before because my own colour is marginally lighter naturally. However, I love it! (therefore these photos were taken 2 days ago).

Today I sorted out all of my storage for my make-up with the help of some ikea old storage items I found in my loft. I might do a video or a post on this. I'd actually like to know what you would prefer? Comments, would be appreciated. How do you store your beauty / hair / makeup products? I'm so interested as its very personal.

I've recently been speaking to a lot of bloggers through the #bbloggers and #fbloggers tags on twitter and you people are all so lovely. If you would like to ask me something and would prefer a quick reply, then tweet me!! @annaluefook I would never ignore anyone!

I'm hoping to reach 20,000 page views by my birthday, which is on the 5th of November. My parents have challenged me. If i reach this number, I don't have to contribute towards the cost of my birthday present (the iPhone 5) but if a don't reach this number I will have to pay around £100 towards it. This challenge was set a few months back. I'm finally thinking i might actually make it! I've worked really really hard to deliver new and interesting content for you the readers of my blog.

To ensure I continue to give you exactly what you want, i'd love you to tell me what to write my next post about. It could be a video you want me to do, a post, a vlog? ANYTHING. So if there's something you'd like to know more about, or you'd like to question me about, then here's your chance. Ultimately its you the readers I want to please, whatever you want to see next on here, just ASK for and I will try my best. Or if you leave a question, and I have enough questions, I will do a video where I answer your questions individually! So don't be shy.

A years supply of Blanx Toothpaste

The face of Blanx Toothpaste 2013 Runner Up

Blanx Non-abrasive whitening toothpaste x12 *

Some of you may know that I entered a competition to be the new face of Blanx Toothpaste for 2013. I was short listed and made the top 10, you can view a post on that here. Sadly I didn't win, but I did really well to come that far in the competition. I was however a runner up. Yesterday I received a package from Blanx which was soooooo exciting. I was aware they were sending me some products, so I was expecting a tube of toothpaste.

When I opened my package I scream with excitement! They have sent me a years supply of their toothpaste which I LOVE. I cannot believe I have 12 tubes. This is my absolute dream runner up prize.

I've always used this toothpaste because it's simply the best around. Italian's really know toothpaste. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a fresh, bright smile. It has ingredients based on natural Arctic Lichen. Each box has a BlanXometer to test your teeth whiteness as you use the product.

I have never had my teeth whitened but regularly use this product. This is what my teeth look like:

All whiteness is credit to an amazing company and toothpaste.

Thank you to Ashleigh Fell at Blanx.

Studded Boots

Boots: Primark £20.00

How cute are these black studded boots. With a decent sole and comfort an added bonus, I can understand why girls are fighting over these in Primark. Luckily the last pair available were a size 3. Hello lovely irresistible boots. The price tag was a no brainer. Cute, Cheap and Studded, oh yes.

Oh Anna, Another pair of black boots? Quote the mother. My topshop black allegra's are well and truly my most warn boot. But who can ever have enough boots? Plus its getting cold. I don't think i've ever felt a colder wind than today.

Blog make over done, comments below please.

Facial Toner Reviews

ASDA SKIN SYSTEM VITAMIN E FACE TONER
£1.00 for 150ml
I love this product, its so cheap and I always pick it up in asda with the food shop. It does exactly what it says on the bottle and I feel that for the money this product is brilliant. However my skin can sometimes be flaky, so i would then use this product to give it moisture, but about an hour later if I haven't applied my make up it is a little bit flaky again. Thats the only bad thing I can say about this product. The smell it nice and subtle. I would recommend this as a very cheap but high quality product that works well for use in a morning before make up. Overall rating 6/10, it could be a bit better.

SIMPLE SOOTHING FACIAL TONER
£3.00 for £200ml
This however would be my favourite. It helps to combat my flaky skin which I hardly get any more since using this for around 3 weeks! There is NO smell which I really like. I love all simple products but I find the moisturiser gives me spots even the light one. However I love this brand and would like to buy a selection of the simple products to review on my blog at a later date. This product is good to use at night before bed. Waking up to fresh skin always make my Monday morning slightly easier. Simple products are soooooo irresistible because their all natural products with 'good for you' ingredients! Overall rating 10/10, one of the best around I believe!

The Verdict
My Favourite: SIMPLE SOOTHING FACIAL TONER
Value for money: ASDA SKIN SYSTEM VITAMIN E FACE TONER
Which i'd send as a present: SIMPLE SOOTHING FACIAL TONER

Body Scrub & Polish Review

THE BODY SHOP, COCONUT BODY SCRUB
£12.50 for 200ml
High-end product.
Personally the packaging isn't that appealing (although I am aware of a range packaging redesign, me likessss). This smell is subtle yet long lasting. It makes my legs feel soft and flake free. I find that it also doesn't leave a residue around my bath which I like a lot. (so sick of cleaning that salt based line). I would definitely recommend this product as it has changed my routine. I use this scrub once a week and I LOVE the day that I use it. I tend to bye this product when its on sale, on the odd 50% off days instore and occasionally online. Overall rating would be 9/10, the price is a little off putting.

SOAP AND GLORY, FLAKE AWAY BODY POLISH
£7.00 for 300ml
High-street product.
This packaging screams 'i need attention, open me and see what all the fuss is about' which I love. Honestly i do really love this product. The only thing I can say negatively  about it is that the smell for me just isn't what I like, its too oppressive. BUT it does actually work equally as well as the Body Shop Coconut, therefore this product is better value quantity wise. My friend swears by this every weekend (her legs are considerably longer than mine though, lol) her legs always feel so smooth and her tan applies really well. Overall rating would be 7/10, i'm just not mad for the smell of it.

Newspaper Nails Tutorial

Newspaper Nails

Cool effect right? Inspired by Em Shel over at adayinthelifeofems.blogspot.com

You probably already have all the things you need at home!
You will need: White nail polish, Top coat, Vodka, Newspaper text & Scissors.

1. paint your nails white, let them dry.

2. dip your nail in vodka for 10 seconds, hold a nail shaped piece of newspaper on the nail applying pressure for 30 seconds.
3. peel off, and repeat on each nail.
4. apply topcoat approx 20 mins after to prevent smudging.
(use a different piece of newspaper for every nail!)

simple. unique. eye catching.

If you do these nails i'd love to see a picture!!!!
